Our carefully screened drivers and maintenance standards are critical to our success. Our drivers complete a combination of state required courses plus extra training sessions which focus on safety, technology and working with students with disabilities. Our buses are inspected and maintained to exact standards by our certified mechanics in our on-site, full-service maintenance facilities.

Assisting special needs students

Our special needs fleet is comprised of more than 600 buses of varying sizes and functions that service both school districts and cooperatives. We can modify any school bus in our in-house body shop to meet students´ needs and provide specially-trained, state-certified individuals to drive the bus and provide on-board assistance.

Students are our business: we care about their health and well-being and our commitment to them doesn´t end when they step off the bus. Cook´s entire bus fleet runs on biodiesel fuel, which burns cleaner and puts fewer toxic emissions into the air. Our Clean Air Club Bus travels to schools around the Chicago area, giving students the opportunity to learn more about keeping the environment clean.
