In November 2009, Cook-Illinois Corporation and UK transport operator Go-Ahead Group formed a new company, Go-Ahead North America to provide high quality school bus services to local communities and School Districts. We are national in name, but local in our approach to delivery. We understand that our customers take safety, reliability and affordability as a given: what makes us different is our passionate belief that the best school services are a partnership between the operator, the School District and the Community.

We empower our local managers to deliver services to School Districts in the way they see fit. This local focus and understanding the communities we serve means that we are able to respond quickly to customers´ needs and provide a high quality service, delivered through our continuous investment in staff and equipment. We also closely analyze our performance, using transit style key performance indicators. Results are shared with customers to assist in the development of effective solutions for children using our services.

Our approach is highly effective and is based on years of experience gained through delivering bus services in the passenger transport sector.
